<headline>Flooding is expected: Dorset coast at Chiswell</headline>
<description>Strong winds and large waves are causing flooding this morning.

Flooding is expected from 06:000am to 11:00am on 23/10/2026.

Areas most at risk include A354 Chiswell, Brandy Row, Pebble Lane, Victoria Square up to the junction with Queens Road, the car parks along the A354 and the yard along Lerret Road.

We are closely monitoring the situation and we have staff on site.

Avoid seafronts and harbours due to wave overtopping and spray containing debris. Refer to local authority website for road closures.

This message will be updated by 2:30PM on Friday 23 October or as the situation changes.</description>
